How To Change To Secondary Camera For Nokia E71

In the name of God

If I were God, all that I offended
Leonardo Sciascia - Candido

What are many religious dietary prescriptions is not new: Catholics do not eat meat on Fridays during Lent, Hindus abstain from beef ; Jews consider unclean horses, pigs, monkeys, reptiles, Muslims are forbidden to eat pork.

Perhaps less known is the use of means of ritual slaughter by Muslims and Jews. Into the European Union is determined that the slaughter must be carried out after stunning, which must follow the rapid death of the subject. Stunning can be made through the use of different techniques including the use of a captive bolt pistol el'eletronarcosi. In the Jewish and Muslim religions, the principle of stunning as a way to limit the suffering of the animal is in conflict with the provisions of the sacred texts. According to the Koran and the Torah, the animal can be killed only when it is still sticking through vigilant (jugular) and the resulting bleeding. The animals also must follow a specific process differs according to the religion in question.

From wikipedia:
The Torah requires very precise rules for the slaughter of terrestrial animals and birds and poses no rules on the slaughter of fish. In essence, the ritual slaughter is defined in detail with the evident purpose, even if not declared, the following:

& ENSP slaughter only animals perfectly healthy;
& ENSP reduce as far as possible the suffering of the animal ;
& ENSP deprive rapidly 'animal blood, which can not be consumed
& ENSP.

The slaughter is by resection of the jugular (note: by using a very sharp knife by the blade) with an animal in a position to minimize the state of consciousness after resection .

Viewed so, I wonder: can, after hundreds of years of scientific and technological progress, there is no better way to use the blade to reduce the suffering of the animal, as prescribed by the sacred texts wisely? Probably the time of the Torah could not do otherwise, we may now take advantage of different means.
possible that these may be slaughtered today? Yes, possible. Italy with Legislative Decree No. 333 of 1998, implemented Directive 93/119/EEC on the protection of animals during the slaughter and the slaughter in which the technical annexes describe the various permitted methods of stunning before slaughter . Unfortunately, the legislation allows an exception to the killing by exsanguination without stunning in accordance with the requirements of sharia Dhabh (beef halal) and Jewish ritual shechitàh (beef Kosher or Kosher).
We see in detail how you can "reduce the suffering of the animal" in the Jewish and Muslim slaughter.

MUSLIM RITUAL SLAUGHTER
The Islamic religion requires its adherents to follow the dietary prescriptions on the flesh of animals that find their basis in the Koran. The foods allowed are defined as "Halal". One of the fundamental limitation concerning the prohibition of eating animals killed without compliance with the rules relating to the ritual slaughtering. It is forbidden in the Koran feeding of animals strangled, beaten to death, accidental death, killed in horns, or eaten by other animals, unless they have been finished for slaughtering. Some species are also considered impure in itself (eg the pig) and these are considered, in addition to carrion, the sacrifices and the animals slaughtered without compliance with the rules on the sticking and bleeding. The meat of lawful animals (cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits, poultry), however, is edible only if they have been slaughtered in accordance with the requirements of sharia. The ritual slaughter of Islamic states that the slaughter was Muslim, psychologically healthy, male or female. The animal is oriented toward Mecca with the head cut and was referred to the great vessels of the neck, esophagus and trachea, through the use of a knife by the blade very sharp. The cut should not be preceded by the stunning of which is to be conscious and treated with respect (caress, tranquilized). The cut is made at the base of the neck if the neck is long (camel, giraffe, ostrich, goose), or the highest part of the same, if short (cattle, sheep, goats). The knife must be challenged with the hand right, while the left holds the head of the firm.
The legs must be tied, except for a rear left free so that the animal can move and kick to release pain and panic.
cut throat is usually preceded by the phrase: "In the name of God, God is great" ("Bismillahi, Allahu Akbar").
If any of these precepts is not observed, the flesh of the animal is not lawful.
The Muslim ritual slaughter is intended, among other things, to make a complete bleeding of the animal. The blood is in fact a substance not permitted as a food in the Quran.

JEWISH RITUAL SLAUGHTER
bans similar to those prescribed in the Koran are also present in the Jewish religion. The food permit is defined as "kosher." I am the Kosher flesh of quadrupeds which have the hoof and chew the cud (for example, the calf, but not pork or rabbit). The birds are almost all legal, unless the birds of prey. They are illegal all animals that crawl or have close contact with the ground (eg, mouse, snake, lizards and insects, with the exception of some grasshoppers allowed in specific areas).
lawful Animals must arrive alive at the slaughterhouse to ensure they are killed as specified in the Torah. The ritual slaughter is performed by an official, said Schochet, authorized by a Board of Rabbis.
To kill a cow should shut her up in a container such as Cincinnati, upright, pushed upward so that the head remains locked forward. From the base rises a platform to support the back of the body and the head is kept raised by another planform. After cutting, the sliding door is raised, a rear leg locked and the animal raised vertically (the image that I enclose, seen at http://www.pcnat.it/Macellazione% 20Rituale.pdf should help you understand).

Once dead and hung up, the animal is engaged in a cut on the abdominal wall and diaphragm, the inspector places the Jewish arm along its entire length in the breast, making sure there are no signs of abnormality. If the supervision of the damage fails, the whole carcass is rejected as href (note: that is, as meat unfit for Jews).
The meat of the front section of the animal until the eleventh vertebra is separated and labeled, the backs are not considered edible unless they are private roads, sciatic nerves and lymph vessels. This type of meat is then sold for common use. The
shackling and hoisting is another method used in Jewish ritual slaughter in which an animal is fully conscious with a chain attached to the hind leg (shackling), and then hoisted into the air (hoisting). The animal is hung upside down, often for minutes, before being slaughtered.

Given the limited capacity of the descriptive words, I attach a movie that should clarify the idea of \u200b\u200bprecisely what they mean by "limit as much as possible the suffering of the animal."

VIVA! (Vegetarians International Voice for Animals!) Managed to get movies about Jewish ritual slaughter of two cows.
The head of the first cow is raised by an elevator. The two buttons nostrils, eyes wide with terror, strong salivation. The operator cuts the throat of the cow that tries to avoid the blade with a deceptively spasmodic muscular movement. The contraction of facial displays great suffering ... The animal does not collapse immediately. The second cow was hit with a long blade with three slashes before the blood spraying out, is then removed from the chin lift but the animal does not collapse. Visibly conscious while blood gushes from the wound. Watchful eyes, ears and keep moving the head vertically. The gun captiva (which prohibited the ritual slaughter) is used after thirty seconds. Evidently incorrectly because the animal does not collapse. After fifty seconds try again keep your head raised no support here and the movie ends.

The Council for the Welfare of Livestock (FAWC) is an organization of English government consults established in 1979 by MAFF (ndt: equivalent to our Ministry of Agriculture). Its officials have visited six slaughterhouses of animals for the production of red meat and poultry slaughterhouses seven, some of them twice. The visits of the inspectors were all pre-arranged such as to enable to prepare for greater application of due process of law. Nevertheless, the results were disappointing. In the Muslim slaughterhouse operations are highly variable. Sometimes the animal's head was almost severed completely in other cases the blade was not perfectly sharp due to increased and prolonged agony, terror and suffering. The single cross-cutting, often described as a clean break from the Jews, is actually a forward slash-and-back. Even in the presence of observers, the Jewish officer in the operation (Shochet) conduct seven strokes ahead-and-back, à la Segante action, "in stark contrast to the training Shochet. Incredibly, the Islamic Medical Association argues that cutting the throat of a cow, in terms of pain, is only slightly different from that of a man who shaves while you cut! The animals, after cutting the throat, often were tied by their feet too soon and the same thing happened when, still reactive, raised them with the winch. An examination of the chest cavity often took place long before the expiration of a minute from slitting their throats. This means that the hand sank into the body while the animal was alive. In a Muslim slaughterhouse, the chickens' heads were immersed in the bath of water where the electrical voltage was deliberately low so that the animals were not killed - by definition they were stunned. They had suffered a painful electric shock, and yet fully conscious, they were cut throat.

There are many authoritative voices of the two monotheistic religions that disagree about how to slow the bleeding by severing the carotid arteries, jugular veins, esophagus and trachea, without prior stunning. The Committee on Jewish Law and Standards (CJLS: Committee on Jewish Law and Standards) is the central authority sull'Halakhah (or on the legal tradition of Judaism) for Conservative Judaism. On 20 September 2000 approved an article (which can be found at href = http://www.grandin.com/ritual/conservative.jewish.law.html ) authored by Rabbi Elliot N. Dorff (Jewish theology professor at the Hebrew University in California and chairman of CJLS) and Joel Roth (American rabbi member of that assembly). From the document shows clearly the position of the two rabbis: the slaughter carried out by the method of shackling and hoisting is a violation of Jewish law since forgotten the cruelty inflicted on animals and this must be stopped.

Rafeeque Ahmed, Muslim Vegan and Vegetarian Association, says: "Pity is one of the duties of Muslims and is one of the qualities ascribed to Allah." Islam implores Muslims to be compassionate towards animals and all forms of life. Islam and Vegetarianism in his pamphlet (p. 24) Rafeeque Ahmed writes: "Any cruelty to animals is forbidden in Islam." The Âhâdîths (ndt: Words of the Prophet) strongly opposed to vivisection, sticks, branded, poisoning, abuse and blood sports. The Holy Prophet was greatly saddened to see in battery farms in what he said: "It's great sin for man to imprison animals entrusted to his power ...." Where do you think comes to meat for religious slaughter? BY farms. A contradiction in terms. The sacred texts do not allow it.

All'Agripocessors of Postville (the whole is well documented on the site http://failedmessiah.typepad.com/ ), Iowa, one of the world's largest kosher slaughterhouse, were filmed in conscious animals were systematically torn trachea and esophagus from the throat cut and that as a result Approximate slaughter, were left in agony for up to three minutes, only to be hit on the face with electric prods. Look here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAU9DD24uUk and then tell me where in the Torah I have to go look for these abominations.

PETA asked to sign this petition: https: / / secure.peta.org / site / Advocacy? Cmd = display & page = 3052 & id = UserAction . I ask you to do so. This is not to become vegetarian, vegan, animal rights activists. The man takes the life of animals, raises them as it suits most of the atrocities and horrors. Death can not be painless, however, by definition it is our duty to allow, consistent with the technological means at our disposal, it is quick and painless as possible.
I did a test: sign this petition takes about 21 seconds. Write your name, email, uncheck the newsletter subscribe to PETA, if you are not interested, just click and you're done.
You owe it to the meat that you love so much, that before becoming a breaded steak or a slice was an animal like you, like me. With feelings, moods, fears, pains that are forgotten every day, all over the world, only in the name of "good taste". To cook
provisions would be to spend them for hours, to assure some little more right there takes a few seconds.
One last thing. Do not make the mistake of thinking, as many do, that these are issues that do concern us. When you go to buy meat at the supermarket look at the reality: that piece of meat comes from an animal that, at best, and very few are those who are lucky enough to get by with so little-has been burned, mutilated and killed for a few minutes of pleasure man.

This pleasure justifies these means?

I guess everyone can guess my answer. Unfortunately I know yours. However, I repeat: the question is not, at least in this instance, eating meat or not but choose to feed on animals that have had a healthy life and a death dignity.

Please, reflect on what you do.

One last effort. Visit the http://www.facebook.com/pages/Macellazione-Rituale-disapprovando-la-macellazione-in-stato-cosciente/106881016009709 (is public, no need to be members of Facebook), you will find under Info two links to two petitions asking that the law on slaughtering in Italy is changed, that stunning after slaughter to become mandatory for all animals, even those intended for kosher or halal. Would need 50,000 signatures, there are less than 1000.
It 's a sign of civilization on your part, at least the simple things on which we can all agree. Please sign and spread.
